Wool Crochet Scarf Fuchsia Multicolor

Wool yarn made in USA
If you love wool then you'll love the wool crochet scarf Fey has herself wrapped up in, here.

"Frigid Autumn" is the name of this crochet scarf. Made from yarn in the colors of a crisp Autumn day, it reminds me those cool, crisp Autumn days just before Winter arrives. This scarf features a 1-1/4 inch (3.2 cm) wide stripe of Fuchsia on one edge, with the rest of this crochet scarf made up of a variegated (multi-colored) yarn speckled with burgundy, fuchsia, yellow-orange and a greyish green. Cheery coolness with a hint of sunshine for muted, cool-toned Summers.

At 68 inches (173 cm) long (plus 7 inch/18 cm fringe) by 3-1/2 inches (9 cm) wide, it makes for a comfortable wrap around your neck (well, comfortable for wool).

"Frigid Autumn" is one of my Scrap Happy Scarves, crocheted by me, myself and I. They can be constructed of leftover yarn scraps, mismatched dye lots, that one remaining skein in the discontinued bin (that isn't enough to use for anything else), and, yes, the reclaimings of a project that has gone horribly wrong. In some cases it's all of the above! ALL YARN IS NEW! Even the reclaimed yarn is technically new as the never finished project was also never worn or used. Both the yarn and I were made in the USA. Just so you know: because of the stitch used in making my Scrap Happys the ends have a tendency to curl. This is normal!

To care for your wool crochet scarf all you need to do is hand wash it in cool water, using a detergent made for wool. USE MINIMAL AGITATION TO PREVENT SHRINKING OR FELTING! Dry flat. An iron on the "Wool" setting may be used if necessary.
