Crochet Wool Scarf Fuchsia Multicolor

$38
Wool yarn made in USA
Fey is showing off an autumnal-colored crochet wool scarf in fuchsia and multi-colored wool yarns. It is a lightweight 67 inches (170 cm) long (plus 7-1/2 inch/19 cm fringe) by 3-1/4 inches (8 cm) wide. Long enough for a complete wrap around but still narrow for those who want a less restrictive feeling scarf.

This particular wool scarf is called "Spicy Coolness". It is two-thirds fuchsia, edged with a stripe of variegated (multi-colored) yarn containing fuchsia, maroon, a bluish grey, a silvery plum and a dabble of orange-yellow. I highly recommend it for muted, cool-toned, Summers.

This wool scarf is one of my "Scrap Happy" scarves and, like all of my scarves was crocheted, by me. Scrap Happys can consist of leftover yarn scraps, mismatched dye lots, that one remaining skein in the bin (that isn't enough to use for anything else), and, yes, the reclaimings of a project that has gone horribly wrong - or all of the above! ALL YARN IS NEW! Even the reclaimed yarn is technically new as the never finished project was also never worn. Both I and the yarn are from the USA. The wool yarn used here resulted in a scarf that has a nice drape and is comfortable to wear (well, comfortable for wool). Just an FYI: because of the stitch used in making these scarves the ends have a tendency to curl. This is normal!

To care for your wool scarf all you need to do is hand wash it in cool water, using a detergent made for wool. MILD AGITATION ONLY! Otherwise you risk shrinkage. Dry flat. An iron on the "Wool" setting may be used if necessary.
